He also talks about the benefits of the VGT which includes fuel savings and improved engine performance, particularly at take off and slower speed driving.

River City Truck Parts was founded by Paul Dailey and Jimmy McWhorter on August 1st, 1987.

MATS began in 1972 when Paul K. Young, former Kentucky Motor Transport Association President, and a few industry friends had an idea to develop a show in the eastern half of the United States. Their goal was to create an event that was more accessible to professionals in the heavy-duty trucking industry, specifically owner-operators and fleets. Their idea and hard work laid the foundation for what would become the largest heavy-duty trucking tradeshow in the world.
